Go to Meez to make your own.  I thought it was pretty funny, so I included it for your pleasure.  Not much to say.

2007 NFL Draft

AD extended the Sooner streak of 1st rounders to 6 years.  Tampa Bay picked Davin Joseph in the first round in 2006 while Jammal Brown and Mark Clayton were drafted in the first round in 2005. Tommie Harris went to Chicago in 2004, Andre Woolfolk was selected by Tennessee in 2003 and Roy Williams went to Dallas in 2002.  Not bad at all.

Ruuufus joined AD in Minnesota and CJ Ah You went to the Bills.

Larry Birdine signed as a UDFA with the Packers, Zach Lattimer with the Redskins, and Paul Thompson with the JETS-Jets, Jets, Jets!  Overall, that ain't bad for the least stacked class in Bob Stoops' tenure.  It would bring me great joy if they all ended up making the cut.

So, this is what I've got for new NFL Sooners:

Minnesota
AD
Ruuuufus

Green Bay
Bird

Washington
Zach

Buffalo
CJ

JETS-Jets, Jets, Jets
PT

The POTUS vetoed the 'cut and run like screaming little girls' bill, which was good, but expected.  Also, unsurprisingly, our enemy used even the mere mention of cutting and running as propaganda, making sure that the entire Islamic world knows that we are the same namby pamby little sissies that cut slingload on Somalia.  But wait, you say, we've been fighting in Afghanistan since 2001 and in Iraq since 2003.  Well, our enemy has a slightly longer time frame in mind for a 'sustained fight'...something in the neighborhood of a few thousand years.  They actually lament us pulling out of their 'historic trap'.

Of course, Ayman Al-Zwahiri (Al Q #2), in his address to suicidal maniacs everywhere, also mentioned that he wants to see us lose 200-300,000 people on the way out as an 'unforgettable lesson'.  According to him, this would force us to 'reevaluate (our) entire doctrinal and moral system which produced (our) historic criminal Crusader-Zionist entity.'  You just keep thinkin', Butch.  That's what you're good at.

  2. Thanks for saying so aza spade. I'm proud of all our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines. The amound of great things that they all do on a daily basis (which goes largely unreported) is mind-boggling. Death sells, which is why you hear mostly bad on the news and rarely any good. We are doing great things, we are winning, and I am happy the POTUS hasn't quit in the face of so much criticism and adversity. I don't want to see us give up on what amounts to a winning strategy in a vital fight that could determine the future for our children and our children's children.

  6. I'm not sure I know LTC Hodges, but it sounds like he made quite the impression as a 2LT.

  8. No, I'm not in Afghanistan anymore. Thankfully, I'm back in the USA (at least for the time being). I take commmand sometime next month. After that...who knows?

I'm guessing that LTC Hodges was a battalion commander at the time of the broadcast?

  12. So I've heard. You'd think we'd be used to the things by now. I guess you can't really prepare for something that can wipe your whole house out in one little move.

  13. many dont prepare..I would be one as well who has not prepared for an emergency like a tornado direct hit...I've been in 3 tornados and accept it as nature but have only once come close to a direct hit and thats in a small tornado.....I hope I dont experience a large 2.5 miles wide and an EF 3-5 with winds over 200 mph....we recently had a straight line wind which recorded a record (for us) 90 mph..

  14. I haven't lived in the great state of O-K-L-A-H-O-M-A, Oklahoma! OK! in several years (army and what not taking me far, far, away), but I surely remember those trips down to the storm cellar when the twisters was a-comin'. Damn, that was scary. Guess living in GA has given me that insight about how these Southeasterners live with hurricanes. They prep and they deal. We just don't do a good job in the Southwest of dealing with twisters. Hell, half our state still lives in trailers. How smart is that? I know, I know...can't help it, but still...
